Come Climb With Us!

The Alpine Club at CU’s mission is to bring together Boulder climbers of all experience and abilities-from Gym Rats to Big Wallers-to form a supportive community of outdoor athletes.

Through the organization of group trips, clinics, speakers and community outreach events, the Alpine Club strives to encourage individuals to take their climbing to the next level. The focus of our trips is to provide club members with an inexpensive way to explore climbing areas outside of Boulder. Nearly every weekend throughout the semester we organize trips to world-class climbing destinations, such as Indian Creek, the Devil’s Tower, the Black Canyon and Ouray. We also frequent many of the great climbing areas close to Boulder, providing opportunities for those who are new to the sport to increase their climbing experience, make friends and meet partners.

Trips & Events

In order to better fulfill our mission, the Alpine Club at CU is transitioning towards funneling all new and old membership traffic through our office on the CU campus. That means we will no longer offer online membership purchases. To purchase a membership you will have to visit us in our office, room 443, in the University Memorial Center. Our office hours can be found here, but you can always call 303-735-6044 to check if someone is in. We are sorry if this inconveniences you. The prices have stayed the same $20 for one year and $50 for five, cash or check preferred. If you want more information check out our FAQ. Also feel free to ask questions through Facebook or just stop by the office.
