Welcome to the Alpine Club at CU!

Memberships enable you to join us on weekend trips and gain access to all the sweet deals we have lined up for you. These deals are for are climbing gym memberships, outdoor gear and apparel, lodging, and more. See our sponsor page for a complete list!

Your membership fees keep this club running. The vast majority of club dues go to consumable gear - we run through a lot of ropes and crampons. Trips dues partially cover this, but annual dues are what pay for the bulk of the gear we provide to make climbing more accessible. Annual dues also cover the maintenance costs of the website, the subscription for our club inReach, costs of guest speakers, swag, promotional materials, and more.

No! Membership is open to all members of our community. Undergrads, grads, and Boulder community members are all welcome.

None at all! As a member, you are invited to apply for any of our trips that interest you, but there is no requirement for you to come on trips. If you’re a busy person and just want to come on one trip, that’s great! We’re psyched to have you as a part of our community regardless of how involved you are!
